COMETSPORTS PRACTICE
8U • FOUR-WEEK STARTING PLAN
Here’s what we’ll work on together: making plays, helping teammates and building confidence one practice at a time.
Dates to be announcedThis is our learning plan, not a confirmed calendar. We can repeat a session or adjust the order as the boys develop.
Every practice includes throwing, hitting and fielding. The focus below is what we’re adding to those fundamentals. Home activities are optional—five fun minutes is enough.

Base coverage & communication

Baserunning & listening to coaches
We’re practicing running through first, touching bases and recognizing when to stop and listen. Effort and awareness work together.

Putting it together
We’re putting the lessons into short game situations: choosing an out, helping teammates and running with awareness. This is a checkpoint, not a final exam.
See what we’re learningWe’ll revisit these ideas throughout the season. A smart decision, a helpful teammate and the courage to try again all count as progress.
